Terms of Service

Welcome to PeerPizza (peerpizza.vercel.app). These Terms explain the rules for using our free temporary chat and file-sharing rooms (the “Service”), provided by Vishvajeet Shukla. If you use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. What PeerPizza is

PeerPizza lets you create or join a temporary room, chat with others in that room, and share files (no fixed per-file size cap). It is free, guest-based (no required account), and designed so data does not stay forever. Rooms and content are meant to expire (typically within 24 hours, or sooner if Burn Room is used).

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change or pause features when needed for maintenance, cost, or safety.

2. Who can use it

You should be old enough under the laws of your country to use online services (and at least 13 years old under our privacy rules). You are responsible for what you upload and what you say in chat.

3. Acceptable use (important)

You agree not to use PeerPizza to share or send anything that:

• Is illegal where you live, or helps someone break the law.
• Infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other rights of others.
• Contains malware, viruses, or attempts to hack or overload the Service.
• Harasses, threatens, defames, or invades someone’s privacy.
• Involves sexual content of minors, or any other content that is clearly prohibited.
• Scams people or steals accounts, money, or personal data.

You must only share room codes with people you intend to invite. Misuse (spam rooms, bulk abuse, illegal content) may lead to blocks or content removal when we become aware of it.

To report abuse or illegal content, use our Report abuse form (or email hello@vishvajeetshukla.in). Do not re-upload illegal material when reporting. We aim to review reports promptly and may remove rooms, messages, or files without prior notice when needed for safety or law.

4. Your content & intermediary role

PeerPizza is a temporary hosting and transmission tool. We do not create the files or chat you send, and we do not pre-screen every upload. You are solely responsible for what you share. When we receive a valid report or otherwise become aware of prohibited content, we may delete it and/or end the room.

You keep ownership of your files and messages. By uploading or sending them through PeerPizza, you give us permission only to store and transmit them as needed to run the Service (for example, so others in the room can download a file). That permission ends when the data is deleted.

You are responsible for having the right to share what you upload. Do not upload other people’s private data without permission.

5. No permanent storage

PeerPizza is not a backup service. Files and chats are temporary. When a room expires, is deleted, or burns, content may be gone forever. Keep your own copies of anything important.

6. Rooms, owners, and Burn Room

• The person who creates a room is the owner for that guest session.
• Owners may set an optional PIN and may delete or schedule a burn on their room.
• Burn Room does not wipe instantly: the room stays usable until the scheduled time (about 2 hours after arming, unless the room would expire sooner).

7. Advertising

The Service may show ads (for example via Google AdSense) to help keep it free. By using the Service you understand ads may appear. See our Privacy Policy for cookies and ad choices.

8. Availability and limits

We do not promise uninterrupted service. Free hosting and storage have limits. Uploads may fail if the network is weak, the file is too large, or capacity is full. Features may change over time.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent allowed by law, PeerPizza is provided without warranties of any kind — including that transfers will always succeed, be private against all threats, or meet a specific purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the Service. Use PeerPizza at your own risk for non-critical sharing.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
